Rooms

More than a home from home

As a boutique hotel, we understand that one of the joys of going away is to have a touch more luxury than you do at home.  So that is why in our higgledy piggledy old building, we have made sure that every room is unique.

The only thing that is standard is comfort - the ultra luxury Vi-Spring beds, the crisp cotton linen, the stacks of fluffy white towels, the state of the art flatscreen tvs, the luxurious en suite bathrooms with rainfall showers, and gorgeous local Sedbergh Soap Company toiletries.

Which room will you choose?

Each room in our hotel has been approached individually and furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture and all have Wi-Fi access.

In case you're wondering, our rooms are named after some of Kirkby Lonsdale's characters.  Find out more about them on the history page.

Your wish is our command

We will do everything we can to make your stay a special one.  There is so much to do in Kirkby Lonsdale itself, in the beautiful Lune Valley and in the Lakes, and of course our restaurant and bar just downstairs, but when you get back to your room, you can relax in utter comfort.

In case you are too relaxed to go out for dinner, we have put together our 'do not disturb' menu so that you can enjoy the bistro's best in your own room, enjoy a glass of wine or stay out late and indulge yourself with our midnight feast tray

The choice is yours...
