Here at Platos's Bar & Restaurant we serve Sunday Lunch each and every Sunday. Please find below a sample menu. The Sunday Lunch menu changes so frequently so that we can incorporate only the freshest, seasonal products that you expect and love. 
Moroccan spices split pea soup, sourdough 
Crispy lamb scrumpet, salsa verdé,pickled chicory 
Marinated beetroot, whipped goats cheese,chard, beetroot and pine nut dressing 
Grilled mackerel, roasted cucumber,confit plum tomatoes, soy and dill dressing 
Pear and gorgonzola ravioli, kale and toasted parmesan


28 day dry aged roast rump of Cumbrianbeef, Yorkshire pudding, confit duck fat roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, red wine gravy (£1.50 supplement) 
Duck breast,chorizo and butter bean cassoulet  
Cumbrian lamb rump, spiced puy lentils and charred baby leeks 
Oven baked whole plaice, almond and brown shrimp butter, new potatoes and broccoli 
Jerusalem artichoke risotto, parsley and peanut pesto goats curd and crispy skin 


White chocolate truffle, charred apricots 
Plato’s sticky toffee pudding, brown sugar toffee, vanilla ice cream 
Brownsugar tart, black sesame crumble and crème fraiche sorbet
Set vanilla cream, poached rhubarb, granola Liquorice poached pear, sable and blackcurrant sorbet
